[endurance] Possibly Not Covering Olympic Equestrian Events

It has come to my attention that NBC may not plan to cover the equestrian
events during the upcoming Atlanta Olympic Games. I own & operate a
tack & equestrian equipment business. This is a Billion dollar
industry in the US with a tremendous following. You have a wonderful
opportunity to sell advertising space to equestrian merchants at
premium prices while serving a segment of the population whose sport
is seldom shown on broadcast tv in the United States. There are far
more people competing with their own horses than there will ever be
boxers, competitive swimmers & divers, fencers, or water ballet.

Were you to choose a knowledgeable announcer, this year's equestrian
sports could become the most dramatic ever. Horses from around the
world will be competing in the harshest conditions ever set for the
horse sports. The heat & humidity will be daunting in Atlanta - so
much so that specialized research in equine heat exhaustion has been
a topic of research at Universities around the world. Revolutionary
new means of cooling the horse have been developed especially to meet
the needs of this year's Olympic competitiors.

I hope that you will see fit to include coverage of this year's
equestrian Olympic events.
