[endurance] moldy alfalfa

I know that alot of us have experienced "above normal" rainfall this
season, which leads to excess humidity, which leads to "moldy
alfalfa" -- in my case!! I fot in a ton, and it seemed rather
"damp" when I got it. Now that it's sat there for a couple of
months (in an enclosed "hay storage" area)-- I notice that there is
a fine layer of mold forming on the sides and ends--light gray fuzzy
stuff, some small, dark spots. Has anyone else had this happen?
Is it okay to feed when there's a "little" mold?? How do I prevent this
from occuring? Do you think that the fact the hay was "damp" when
I got it, has alot to do with it??
