It was interesting to me to hear of the gal who shipped her horse from CA to
WA and have him loose weight. Same thing happened to me when I shipped my 7
year old from CA to CT. In our case though we found a kidney tumor. I was
told to go on Equine Senior as well but opted for plain barley and Dynamite
Plus supplements instead. The thing about the tumor is, they are very
difficult to detect. My horse had absolutely no metabolic indicators that
would warn us there was kidney trouble. (Unlike Bev Gray and Omner, whose
blood tests were all over the place.) Only a rectal exam uncovered it and
subsequent ultrasound confirmed it.

I'd be interested in how much you feed of the Equine Senior. Currently I
give my horse two 12oz cans of grain twice a day. Plus we are steering clear
of any alfalfa whatsoever. It's hard to tell what he looks like now because
of his winter coat. But he sure is acting like himself again. I have yet to
have him recehecked, but as soon as the weather gets better I will.
