Relative to the low milage (30 miles/week) vs high milage (50 miles/week)
conditioning. I was trying to organize my collection (five years worth) of
"Endurance News" last night. There was an interesting article in an issue
a few years ago (don't ask me to remember the issue since I saw five years
of dates last night). The artilce was on over conditioning. The problem
has been well know in human's for some years now - a very well conditioned
athlete starts slowing down for no apparent reason. This article discussed
these topics. What seemed to be the "bottom line" is it can be a concern
but we really don't understand how to tell when this is a problem (without
a lot of lab work).

Maybe some of our vets could help a little.
