Hi Everyone~! I've been enjoying the subject of trailers as well, and was
hoping I could ask a few questions. You can reply to me direct if you'd
like so we don't clog up the list.

Does anybody out there have or know somebody who has a "Brenderup" trailer?
I've gotten information on them and they look/sound awfully neat. My
husband has asked me "why does a horse trailer have to weigh a ton"? I'd
like to hear experiences from people towing this trailer with a lighter tow
vehicle too.

I currently have a one ton Chevy pickup - 454 engine (we get 6 miles to the
gallon - with a tail wind going down hill) <grin> The horse trailer I have
is heavy, and we have a camper on the truck as well.

Ideally we'd like to be able to get a lighter horse trailer, a truck that
gets better gas mileage, and not have to sacrifice the ability to pull
uphill, etc. I'd welcome any comments/experiences/suggestions from anybody.
Thanks!!!!

Karen
