>Has anyone read "Natural Horse-Man-Ship" by Pat Parelli?

--haven't read his book, but have taken taken my horse to two of his
seminars at his spread near Clements, CA. We ride our two endurance
horses using nylon rope halters that he sells/recommends (no bits).
His training methods are very effective, all based on his "Three P's"
-- Passive, Patient Persistence. I've seen him start with an unbroken
horse and be STANDING on it's back within 20 minutes. He has also
worked with handicapped riders, training the horse to kneel for the
rider to get on. It works.
