You misunderstand me.

I must clarify that I don't even BELIEVE in god!!! By "acts of god" I mean
circumstance beyond our control...of what there are more in life that aren't
in our control than those that are.

I simply don't believe in mandating protectionism.

While I am at it....I have been a horse show, three-day event, dressage, and
competitive/endurance ride manager and have purchased insurance for ALL of
the above. I have NEVER seen an insurance policy that mandates the use of
helmets. I would drop them in a flash if they did.

I once had an insured horse die (I was making payments on her at the time)
and the insurance adjuster wanted the registration papers (which I couldn't
provide because the horse was not paid for). His reason "so that I don't use
them on another horse"...None of his ##$^$ business!!!! It seems that the
days of "innocent until proven guilty" are long gone and truth and integrity
are becomming a thing of the past.
