There are a few. Historically mules haven't been fast enough to compete
in endurance. They have been very successful in competitive trail where
their slower speed isn't a handicap. Now that mules are being bred from
top distance mares I'd expect to see more. Our own half Arabian mules are
just now getting old enough to compete. All of ours have been sold to
people who plan to go on rides but the oldest are just 5 and 6 and the
people are taking it slow conditioning them. Look for red dun molly mule
DW Desert Rose and her rider Dianw Hypes on endurance rides back east
next year.
