Hi All!

On a brighter note, I heard this from
a woman at our barn. Now, I like her
and all, but... well... she said that
if you ride your horse hard enough that
it's in really good shape... and even
looking a bit thin, that the horse's
body "eats" or digests any parasites.

Basically she's saying the horse does
not need to be wormed.

This came up because a horse (arab) she
used to own is really thin. She still
feeds the horse. She sold it to a guy
who rides pretty hard... 2 or 3 hours
of cantering a day. My buddy Gabrielle
asked her when she last wormed this
horse and that was her response. We
just kind of looked around and said
we'd post the question to y'all... to
see if there's any merit to this idea.

(Actually, I thought it'd be good for
a laugh... :) )
