Some of our rides consist of 3 different loops, all of which come back
into camp. Those are nice. Most, however, are two loops which repeat.
Since I am limited on some of my conditioning routes, unless I want to
trailer for any distance, I usually do the same 12-14 mile route. I
guess that my horses consider it much nicer to leave camp, since they have
far less trouble at a ride than they do at home-leaving the pasture mates.

I do get the idea that most people get bored with the same loops, and
that is understandable, I get bored as well. I am just so happy to be
riding, that I don't care if I have to ride the same 10 mile loop 5
times. It is truly a blessing to be able to get on a fit horse and ride
for 50 miles. I think that most people out there would rather ride than
not ride, and that is what it all boils down to. Right? If your only
choice was a ride that repeated, how many of us would give up this
wonderful sport altogether? Not too many, I don't think!
