This was highly recommended to me by my vet for Fleetson's yucky armpit mess
that I caused by putting too much fly wipe on him (I felt soooo bad) ... I
finally ended up just rinsing it with water once a day and letting it
airdry. It cleared up, peeled off and hair started growing within a week.
And he's been fine since, even with lots of trotting and sweating.
