Hi Jennifer-
Unfortunately, I need to work long hours year round. During the winter months I
tend to change my focus to arena work. I guess I am what you would call a fair
weather rider! I find that I can compete in the Fall if I have been riding
consistently all summer. The horses don't seem to lose their conditioning. But
for the most part, I do a lot of dressage work in the winter months, and lots of
riding on the weekends.
About the saddles - my husband had a Paragon for a long time. He really liked
it. We thought it was built better that the Marathon. The panels on the Paragon
are wool flocked, the Marathon has foam. The we sold the saddle was that it
doesn't fit his current horse.
