Locally there are a group of us who ride Paso Finos. One
woman rides her gelding in 75 and 100 mile rides. He goes
along just fine and has been clocked at 18 mph over short
stretches. I'm just a "fair weather" competitor, but have
done 25s and a 50 on both TWH and Paso Finos. Also have
a TWH/Appaloosa cross who will be endurance ridden next year.
Our local rides usually have 4 or 5 Paso Finos, completing
the 30 at least.
