I haven't seen any that I felt were sturdy enough that were also light
enough to carry on a trip. If you make them easy to handle they won't
hold a horse. Then again I am always considering what to do with a
stallion. While I think many of those options would work for a mare or
gelding I have to equip myself for all the animals I will ride which is
my stallions and mares. I do think pens are a much better option than
electric fences though.
