Hello,

I rode for a few years in the Miller's Heels Down shoe. They are very
comfortable, however for over all comfort (walking, standing, riding,
etc) I can't say enough about Ariat's paddock boots. I bought a pair of
their new synthetic leather "FreeStyle" boots in March and fell in love.
They're even washable! They have a special "gel" insole that absorbs
alot of shock and are "water resistant". Best part is they only cost a
little more than a quality "sneaker" riding shoe.

I don't know a person who owns a pair of Ariat's that doesn't love them.
I just bought a second pair last night (they were on sale (:>) that are
the thinsulate lined winter paddock boots.

BTW-- They can be worn with half-chaps which in the wooded, hilly, &
muddy rides I do is a definate plus!
