I entered my first endurance ride this year, the 25 mile Tall Pines ride
near Silver City, New Mexico. It was a ball, we finished well but my
horse's heartrate would go back up every time a new horse would come into
the finish, he wouldn't calm down until I got him in a headlock and
scratched his hears, does any have any ideas on this this?
I,m also looking for schedules and information on any rides in the SW,
most of the local rides have been cancelled because of the outbreak of
stomatitis, but as far as I know the ride in Truth or Consequences is
still on.
