Has anyone used or is using a Suburban 1/2 ton for towing? I am considering
to buy a 1989 4WD Suburban for trailering a two horse bumper hitch for
endurance rides in my area. I figure the extra room in the back would be
perfect for sleeping. The area I live in has some serious hills and I
wonder if the Suburban is heavy enough for this type of driving. Also, do
you think the Suburbans will hold up with over a 100K miles on the engine?
The asking price is $8500.
