I just read an article on Val and Cash (it was a year old by the
time I got it). A friend of mine's mother breed Cash. My friend
Jaci got the horse from her mother and trailered him from Wisc to
Colorado, and had him trained. Then she turned the horse over to me
to start him on endurance riding. I put a few miles on the horse,
and took him through two 25 mile rides. Then Jaci sold the horse
to Val. I feel, in a very small way, a part of this horse. If
I hadn't started him, he would have been sold as just another horse.
Jaci advertised him as an endurance prospect, thus getting him on
the right track in life.
