Greetings:

A software company that develops teleradiology systems for the medical
community has asked me to determine whether there is interest in the
horse industry for their product. Teleradiology allows a vet or track to
send an x-ray or other radiological image to a remote location for a
diagnosis or second opinion....instantaneously.

The reciving end (where the diagnosis is done) requires a $1000 software
package. The transmitting end requires a $15,000 portable x-ray system
and digitizer. The image is sent over standard phone lines and can be
visually enhanced at the receiving end. The company claims the quality
is excellent.

If you (or someone you know) is interested in this capability they can
contact me.

Thanks,

Rod Smothers
