a quick update on the UMECRA crowd here in Michigan and around. White River
Summer Ride was beautiful in the Manistee National Forest, even though it was
a little hot and humid. Great vets, as usual, Rae Birr, DVM was her usual
wonderful self as she is always concerned for the welfare of everyone's
horses, even those who don't pull their own horses when they should! 1/3 of
the field was pulled in the 50 for various reasons, probably humidity and
sand mostly.
Amy Whelan was back doing her first 100 since the baby, and she looked great
last time i saw her at 90 miles. Great to see you, amy!!
