Castle Rock was post-poned to June 24, not cancelled! Regarding the move of the
Ranchita Estates - better to be moved than not happen at all. If you give Dan
Barger a call, he will probably have a good reason for the move.

Remember we spoke of either meeting at Castle Rock or Tar Springs? Well
I guess by now it's been discussed that Barbara shut down Castle Rock.
The camping area is a mud bog. Sheeze! Great Ride. Too bad. Challenging
yet fun. Guess what Tar Springs is cancelled as well. Just got off
the telephone with Skip. The trails up there have been demolished and
the Santa Maria Elks haven't the manpower or the inclination to fix them
in the next four weeks. They really don't make that much coin off the
thing and are so involved in the big money maker Santa Maria Elks Rodeo
they plan on doing it next year and just skipping (pardon the play on
words) 1995. <Pain> Our other local ride (new last year) Ranchita
Estates is being moved to Sept. Oh great move it to the time of year
when there's tons of established rides already. Good Planning Calif
Sports in Morgan Hill. Get a clue. Anyway maybe some other time...
