Actually, it's not quite that simple. If the horse carrying the 110 lb
rider weighs 1200 lbs, and the horse carrying the 210 lb rider weighs 1000
lbs, then the 1000 lb horse is potentially expending less energy carrying
that total mass down the trail, despite the heavier rider. There's alot
more to it than just "how much does the rider weigh".
