    What I call "heart" in a horse isn't something you can really see per- say. 
    In an endurance horse it will be one who eats and drinks even if he's a 
    little stressed, who won't show a "gimp" even if he's a little sore, doesn't 
    whine complain or quit when the going gets tough, cold or rainy, and one who 
    just knows how to put out that extra effort when it counts most. 
    Some people have it too, and it measures up the same way. We never really 
    know how to "study" what drives them, but they are just special.
