Maggie does like to visit the barn, catch her pony and brush him as much
as ride. When I'm feeding and can't watch her ride every moment, I
usually put a neck strap and a bridle on him and turn them loose in the
small square arena so that they can putz together. I know she won't take
off cantering with me not watching her bareback. She loves to trot and
canter. She spends a fair amount of time standing up. I like riding with
her b/c I find that micromanage her less when I ride too than when I
"give her a lesson" Her form scares me to death sometimes, but
it's not her fault, her body just doesn't always do what she wants it
to.

I think the end of this week I'll take her out and try her with my
husband on a short trail. there has to be a first ride 
sometime.
