    Assuming your corrals are reasonably level and you have a supplier of
    gravel somewhere nearby, try the very fine gravel...it has the
    consistency of heavy sand.  It's a little dusty when it's very dry, but
    so is a dirt paddock. It gets better after it's been rained on and the
    dust has been washed away.  I sprayed mine with a hose for the first few
    days till we got some rain. The gravel drains well, is never muddy, and
    if they dig a hole, just get out your flat shovel and level it again. 
    It's easy on their legs and feet, provides good traction and doesn't
    pack in the hooves.  Poop is easy to pick up on it. 
    
    Just be sure to fill any holes and make sure the existing ground is
    smooth before spreading the gravel or you will have low spots.
    
    Be glad to privately send you a picture if you like.  I've used it for
    over a year now and am very pleased.
