    Watching this thread with interest.  Time to do the new member obligatory
    check-in.  I'm Susan in eastern North Carolina.  Currently starting a 12 y/o
    OTT STB trotter mare under saddle. We are just getting nice forward movement
    and some sort of frame.  Very new to the endurance discipline, but finding
    that it is attracting me.  Anyone want to fill me in on those things an
    endurance horse ought to be able to do before going on a ride.  Ideas on
    conditioning and building endurance.  Have been reading the various items
    posted on website and will check archives at some point.  Any resources you
    want to direct my way would be appreciated.
