It cost me way more than $1.81 to feed 2 hamsters a
month. Hell, it costs that much just to replace the toilet paper rolls they
would eat everyday. Geez, I don't know where they got that figure
from.
Do we really have that many mustangs in this
country? That's a lotta dang horses! I am not sure these figures are accurate.
I am going today to pick up yet another horse for
our local SPCA. I wont' have people banging on my door to adopt, no matter how
wonderful this horse is or will be. I don't ask for compensation because I want
to do this. However, rescues all over the country beg everyday for financial
help. I can't imagine where 10,000 more horse could go!
And why do we blame the ranchers?? Isn't the BLM
suppose to be in charge of keeping these wild herds at bay? Shouldn't we be
demanding more birth control on the herds if there are that many? What has the
BLM been spending our money on if they haven't been able to manage theses herds?
If the BLM has 4.6 million dollars to pay one person annually, where did that
come from? Who gave the okay for all of this? That is who people would need to
write to.
Too many questions and no answers.
I would definitely want to see facts on this story
before I jumped on the bandwagon. It could all be very matter-of-factly, but I
know it costs more than $1.81 to feed a hamster for a month.
I don't even want to tell you how much it
costs to have a little hamster eyelid sewn up. How much can anesthesia cost
for a rodent?
