I think the farm tanks I bought must be UV
stabilized. Mine are 10 years old and fine. Do use all plastic to
hook up to the tank. Metal does not contract as much in the winter as
plastic and will tend to crack the tank where it connects.
I would expect that RV tanks designed to be used
inside a rig are not UV stabilized. (Would cost the maker money)
