Ridecamp: [RC] [Guest] actors who ride

I am thoroughly enjoying this thread.  I read once in the Horse and Rider
that a gal was riding on the edge of her property and met Patrick Swazye
riding on the edge of HIS property and they stopped and enjoyed a nice
conversation on their Arabian horse's bloodlines!!  (pant pant)  He could
leave his horses mess in MY barn anytime!!  Also not too long ago he was
doing his own stunt on a movie and was supposed to ride at a full gallop
between two trees and his horse spooked and he hit one of the trees and
broke both of his legs...he healed well as he is dancing with his wife in a
new movie!!

Let's not forget Sam Elliot and his wife...oh..the gal who played the
galfriend in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid...Anne something or
other..they do a Zane Grey movie about every two years.  He sits a horse so
natural.

I understand that John Wayne had a certain Sorrel horse that he used in
several movies.  He really liked him.

Also Billy Crystal bought the blace AQHA gelding that he rode in  City
Slikers I and II.  He named him Beechnut after the gum that he likes and
even rode him onto the stage at one of the Academy Awards Ceremonies.

Just a little trivia to get thru this blah time in the east until we can get
back on the trail!!  LOL

Have fun with your horses and don't sweat the small stuff...horses are here
to help lus relax!!  :~))
