Big clippers like the Clipmaster are at least $200. They are better for
body clipping, but out of the original poster's price range. I don't believe
the blades are detachable, either. The Oster blades can be sharpened for
about $5 a pair. We used Oster A-5's on the horses at WEG.

horse and other people finished in 1-2. It was worth it to me to spend an
extra $75 for bigger clippers and finish in a hour - not to mention that I
clipped 6 horses on one set of blades with the bigger clippers and I only
get 1 horse out of a set of A-5 blades.

Oster A-5 Golden with detachable blades- about $100. Get two blades, a #40
    (very close)and a #10 or #15 - about $20 each. The #10 blades come in wide
    width also.

I groom dogs, and have used these clippers for years. There are lighter,
quieter clippers (I own five pairs of clippers) but the Oster will last the
longest with the coarse hair coat of a horse.
