    [RC] Trail Etiquette - Advice - IRMurphy


    Based on the responses I've received I'll make two points of clarification.
    
    The comment on turning the horses butt towards the passing rider was a JOKE!  I was only mentioning this because the word "politely" was used.
    
    Second, I should have mentioned unsolicited advice when a horse is acting obedient and in control.  If a horse is obviously out of control I'd be more concerned about getting out of their way first, then secondly, they'd hear more than just my opinion if their dangerous actions put me and my horse at risk.
