What's the baking soda for?   This is not a electrolite!!!     Baking
soda would make me thro up....so why give it to the horse?    Warm or hot
will only make the horse or human hotter and will not be abosorbed as
fast...scientific fact!!

Here is a better one!!!!
Use tap water or ice cold      1 gal 
                                                   2 tbl corn syrup or
dextrose or table sugar
                                                   2  tbl of salt
 Serve cold or iced...the body absorbes cold immediately
