Ridecamp: [RC] Actors who can ride

Since getting into endurance and horses in particular
over the last couple years, I watch movies featuring
horses in a whole new light.  Always enjoyable to pop
in The Black Stallion, The Man From Snowy River,
Return to Snowy River, and if you haven't seen it,
check out Phar Lap.  The younger Tom Burlinson(The Man
from Snowy River) did a great job in this old movie. 
And nothing gets my blood going more than when Tom is
flying after the bad guys on that wild stud in Return
to Snowy River.

Mel Gibson appears to be quite the horseman, in such
movies as Braveheart.  It would be interesting to know
what type of lessons and training these actors go
through.

Watching these movies with horses just makes me ready
to go do a long enjoyable conditioning ride.
