[RC] Head flipping - Maureen A. Fager

    Oh yeah,
I just remembered that my mare did flip her head going downhill for awhile. It was because the saddle was slipping forward on her withers and causing her great discomfort. I changed saddles and she also has matured some, both which helped. Also, she has become stronger from both up and down, hill work, but will still show discomfort on real steep hills if the saddle slips forward a bit.

    Hope this helps,
    Cheers,
    Maureen
