    Interesting.  I think the main problem with newbies having horses is that too 
    many people ride the things as if they were motorcylces.  :o)  But the fact 
    that some people are stupid does not mean the intelligent (newbie or not) 
    should not avail themselves of every device and every bit of knowledge that 
    helps them to better read and understand their mounts.
