[RC] Don't shoot the Dog - KimFue

I have found that "Clicker training for Dogs" by Karen Pryor is a much better book to introduce clicker training to those new to operant conditioning than "Don't shoot the dog".  I have used both books with my dog agility clients and have found that even 10 yr olds are able to understand "Clicker Training for Dogs" easily.  I really can't tell you why other than perhaps the way the material is presented in this Karen Pryor book which was published after "Don't shoot the dog".  Many of these methods can easily be adapted to horses although I don't think I would start teaching my horse sit & down as one of the first behaviors :)
