Ridecamp: [RC] de spooking horses:

How about  a backpacker.
I have a great pic of my new horse puffed up larger than life trying to
figure that guy out.
We were off our horses taking a grass break when this guy comes walking
up the trail.
I was sure glad that I was off. Gave me a great opportunity to walk
Casper up to this
nice man. We stood there and talked for a little bit and I asked him if
he would quietly touch my horse.
That immediately relaxed my horse. I think he could not see the actual
person very well due to the
large backpack frame and the guys big floppy hat.
