    This type of hog management is inhumane by most of our standard, but on top of that, these pigs are kept healthy by constantly injecting them with antibiotics. Animals raised in these conditions, where they normally couldn't survive... geeze, folks, you REALLY want to put that in your mouth?  In the mouths of your children? I'm fine with eating ranched pork, raised on farms where the animals can breath clean air and get some exercise.
     
    From a humanitarian standpoint? Bad. But we feed animals raised like this to our children.  I don't understand that thinking, particularly considering the problems this country has with obesity, high blood pressure, auto immune diseases...
