    I thought I'd add my two cents to this conversation.  
    
    In the horrible horse trailer accident we had in Sept,
    Roy was loose and Silver was tied.  I don't know the
    details of how (don't want to know and probably never
    will) but Silver was killed while Roy walked out with
    only a bruised hip.  The trailer was a slant load,
    front facing.
