Ridecamp: [RC] Movie, Jeremiah Johnson, arab?

Not a terribly important, earth shattering or controversial question
here..........

Bored stiff the other night & scrounging in the shelf for a movier to watch
I played the old Robert Redford Jeremiah Johnson movie.  Now in the
beginning the horses are so darn fuzzy you can't tell squat aobut them, but
when they shed out clearly the grey horse of the old mountain man Bear Claw
(actor who played Grandpa Walton) was an arab.  The tail set and rear end
of Redford's horse  clearly seems to be arab,  and as he shed out you can
see he has a featuresd akin to Khemosabi or a good friend of mines round
body Davenport arab.  Just out of curiousity were these 2 horses purebred
arabs or does anyone know much about them?
