In 2003 it looks as if 2 of our local Southwest
Idaho rides are on the same dates as the Pan Am ride at Mt Adams and the
National Championships at Red Rock near Reno.
I'm wondering how that might affect our numbers of
entries, crews, staff, etc. I'm particularly concerned with the Weiser
River Rail Trail ride which would usually be held on Oct 11.
We may consider date changes to accommodate
riders.
I would like to hear comments from riders and ride
managers.
Are you planning to go to either or both of
these events rather than regular "local"ride?
Don't need to know names, just some idea of how
numbers might work out.
Would also like to hear from Ride managers about
how rides in other regions may have been impacted by major events on dates close
to thier rides.
