    Most people's legs are actually slightly different in length.  I had the same 
    problem (especially when trotting downhill for extended periods of time) and 
    a simple stirrup adjustment pretty much solved it!  I also worked hard on my 
    centered riding (thank you Charlene and Tammy of Trail-Rite) and found that I 
    was "leaning" slightly, probably to compensate for the longer leg (with the 
    more painful knee!).  Good luck!
