    I fed rice bran for a long time to help put weight on and because I heard it had lots of vitamin e etc. It  is high in Phosphorus I believe so you may have to feed dicalsium phosphate or give alphalfa to balance it . There is one you can buy balanced, but it cost more .I could only get it in 100 lb bags and it got to be a pain for the limited amount of horses  that needed it after they regained their weight.
