Ridecamp: [RC] fractured withers

Does anyone have a horse with fractured spinous processes at the withers?
Is the horse sound?  One of my rescues (2 yr. old Aralusian filly)
apparently tried to run under a low tree branch or hay elevator when she was
younger, and broke some wither tips.  I'm wondering if this condition is
usually career limiting?  My vet hasn't seen this before, and I can't find
much on the web about it.
