Ridecamp: [RC] beet pulp

Thank you all RideCampers for your input on Beet Pulp. Picking the stones 
out is tiresome and some I may have missed apparently have not harmed my old 
mare. She has never choked thus far. I use a small Fortiflex bucket that 
just fits inside a feed bag. I put about and inch of Beet Pulp to cover 
bottom of bucket. Add a generous amount of water and let set. Come back 
later and and 2 cups of Nutrena Senior feed and one cup of rice bran. Stir 
and add more water.This ends up a half bucket or so. I put the feed bag over 
her head and the way she goes. She licks the bucket clean. If any stones got 
in there they ended up in her belly. The good news is that I have found 
another Feed store that does not stock Beet Pulp but will special order the
