[RC] Thank you, All. - Karen Standefer

I wanted to be able to write each and every one of you
who send flowers, cards, stuffed animals and healing
thoughts. My collar bone is finally feeling well
enough for me to do more than one fingered typing. I
hope you will all accept my crude thanks here in this
    public forum.

This has been a very difficult month, emotionally.
You'll never know how much each of your communications
    has meant to me.

Physically, I'm recovering well and fast. I go for
x-rays tomorrow which will hopefully tell me that my
collar bone is well enough to begin some physical
therapy. Because I had two fractured vertebrae, that
was the injury the Dr's were most concerned about.
However, my personal Spine and Sports Dr has reviewed
the x-rays and assured me that the verbebrae fractures
are extremely minor and even relieved me from wearing
the minerva brace. So, I'm concentrating on getting
my shoulder and foot healed. I was luckier than Angie
in that my fracture on my collar bone was originally
1" apart, but has set itself and grown back together.
So, I believe the prognosis should be good tomorrow.

    Thank you for your thoughts,
    Karen
