I am sure the manufacturers of your vest do not want to be held liable for
injuries - hence the disclaimers.  the rodeo people and the cross country
eventers wear them, and thats good enought for me.! when I have fallen while
wearing the vest, I have not been injured , and when I have not had the vest
on, I have been injured.
