[RC] [RC] EZboot Size - DreamWeaver

Thought I would try on an EZ boot on Henry since he will start up soon.
Geezzz!!!A size 2 goes on with only sli resistance BAREFOOT. Does this mean
a 3 over a shoe. I can't believe a horse can have feet that big???? What
will I do with all of BOB's O's. Donna and BOB ( Henry in the starting
    blocks)

Donna: Here's a size chart that might help: http://www.redwrench.com/ezboot/default.htm

If you measure your horses hoof across the widest part, let me know what you get and I'll tell you Henry needs a 2 or a 3. The odds are that he'll take a 2 with a shoe on as well. I've got 2 horses that take a size 2 both barefoot or shod, and they are both about 5 to 5 1/4" wide. btw, size 2 easyboot feet in endurance horses are the exception rather than the rule. :+) Most take 1's or 0's. Some even take 00's.

If it turns out that the 2 is pretty snug, but the 3 is too big (pretty likely), I can show you some things to get the 2 on over the shod hoof. After you do it a couple of times and ride in them, it gets easier. You going to Coso?
