I give a damn, Bob, but I honestly have no idea what a DAL does.  Not in the
AERC anyway.  Perhaps more of us in the AERC should learn what is involved
in becoming involved.  I doubt that I would be able to do such a position
justice...at least not yet.  I am still a newbie as far as I'm concerned.  I
think that a lot of AERC is "newbie" and would feel the same as I do.  In
our piddly little team penning organization we are lucky to get anyone to
accept a nomination for ANY office.  I think having 9 to choose from is a
luxury.  But it is a pitiful percentage in an organization of this scope and
size.
