[RC] WEG, FEI and the direction of our Sport - Becky Hackworth

What about a multiday? What better judge of "ENDURANCE" than the horse that
can do it 3-5 days in a row! Isn't that what 3day is all about? Now if we
did 250 miles in 5 days I think we would stand a better chance for Olympic
    admittance.

NC, I think the same thing. I have been to a couple of Multidays.
Sometimes I complete all the days, sometimes I don't. I really feel more
accomplished when I finish all days offered. I respect the other riders
that are able to finish all with the same horse, and that horse looking
awesome at the end. Often in better shape than the first day.

So in that same vein, I think NC riders should have at least 500 miles on
said horse to be qualified. I really feel that something is wrong with the
rest of the qualifications too, since I have qualified for NC twice and I
have yet to Top Ten, or have I ever 1st in Weight Division either. How does
that qualify for a national championship?

Please, no flames, it's too early in the morning. Comments are welcome,
suggestions towards a solution are preferred!

    Becky and the gang.
